THE PROGRAM
Uniting Neighborhoods and Inspiring Today’s Youth has established a way of honoring mothers who mean so much to their child.

ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS
• Must be in grades K – 12.
• All participants will be eligible for U.N.I.T.Y’s scholarship Program.

AWARDS
Five (5) mothers will receive plaque and gift card for being recipient of contest.

ESSAY QUESTION & CRITERIA

Essay – What makes your mother so special?
• No more than 150 words.
• Must be readable if handwritten.
• Submit a picture of mother (optional).
• Correct grammar must be used.

TEACHER APPRECIATION CONTEST

• All participants will be eligible for U.N.I.T.Y’s scholarship Program.

U.N.I.T.Y HONOR ROLL PROGRAM

 
THE PROGRAM
Uniting Neighborhoods and Inspiring Today’s Youth has established a program to inspire youth to earn good grades at school 

ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS
Must be in grades K – 12.
You must mail a COPY of your report card to U.N.I.T.Y

AFTER EACH REPORT CARD AWARD
Top 25: Will receive gift card to a store of U.N.I.T.Y choosing and certificate

END OF THE YEAR AWARD
At the end of the school year, we will recognize our top 5 honor roll recipients. We will take all four report cards to determine to overall grade point average for the school year. Each recipient will receive a gift bag and attend a Detroit Tigers game.

 

 

 

TECHNOLOGY RECYCLING PROGRAM

VOLUNTEER WITH U.N.I.T.Y

 

All volunteers must:

  • Be 18 years of age or older

  • Meet with Founder/CEO to understand organization’s direction

  • Commit to working to improve after school programs and community service

  • Agree to get a DHS Clearance (coaching positions only)

  • Agree to get a Police Clearance (coaching positions only)

  • Follow rules and regulations of U.N.I.T.Y

  • Keep commitment of agreed volunteer time
