MDOT, City of Detroit hosting public meeting Sept. 12 on  US-12 (Michigan Avenue) project in Detroit

The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) and the City of Detroit are hosting a public meeting on the planned improvements to US-12 (Michigan Avenue) in Detroit. The project involves rebuilding Michigan Avenue between I-96 and Campus Martius. Attendees can receive updates on the current design progress.

 Project information:

The project involves rebuilding a 2-mile stretch of Michigan Avenue in Detroit. The project team will present updates on pedestrian, bicycle and transit improvements, streetscape enhancements, historical characteristics, and innovation. The public is encouraged to attend and provide feedback.
